Contractors All Risks (C.A.R) insurance can provide cover for loss or damage to the following items:

   • Contract Works (fixed and unfixed parts of the works, including materials on site and work in progress. The sum insured should represent the Maximum Contract Value which might be undertaken)

   • Own Plant

   • Hired In Plant (some policies also provide cover for Continuing Hiring Charges, which is the costs that you may continue to incur if an item of Hired In Plant is lost or stolen)
